I’ve always loved the way denim jackets look in summer with a little floral dress/playsuit underneath, I browsed the internet for hours last week trying to find the perfect playsuit, that was still inexpensive (in case I decide it’s not my thing or lose any more weight) and I absolutely love the one I chose from Select. It has gorgeous shades of blue which I think go perfectly with a little denim jacket, this one is from Miss Selfridge, and some white pumps!
For the longest time I’ve wanted to be able to wear a lace bodysuit, I just think they’re super pretty and flattering, I went for black as I think any other colour would be a little too bold for me! It’s still pretty bold for me actually, but paired with some high waisted trousers, another thing I love wearing, seriously, nearly every bottoms I buy now are high waisted, and a black jacket makes it much less daunting. The bodysuit is from Misspap and the trousers and shoes are New Look. For both of these outfits I’d probably wear a necklace, just because I think it makes everything look complete.
Ah jeans, my favourites. Anybody who knows me knows 99% of the time I’m in jeans. I just find them the most comfortable, easy to style, can be dressed up or down and are just great overall in my opinion! I’ve stuck to skinny jeans for years and years, but I do find myself keep looking at the mom style, distressed ones these days, I haven’t found a pair I love yet, still looking for some with a high waist, but when I do, I’m pretty sure I’ll be getting some! The jeans in this photo are just from Matalan, they’re frayed along the sides and I’m still unsure if I love them or not, but as they’re only one of two pairs that currently fit me, they’ll do! I found this gorgeous little peplum top on Pretty Little Thing that I think goes perfect with jeans for a relaxed summer outfit! I put some little black pumps with this outfit but I actually think brown sandals would look lovely and make the outfit much more summer appropriate, now let’s just hope the nice weather returns, as I’m currently back to wearing coats, scarves and big winter boots!
