Well, the colours anyway! Unfortunately I’m not talented enough to do patterns and little drawings that some people do on their eyelids, so this will have to do. I absolutely love pinks/purples/blues together, and it always reminds me of mermaids, that plus a little bit of glitter and voila! Easy mermaid eye makeup! I finished the rest of my makeup by doing a highlighted, glowy skin and a glossy, nude lip.

As for any bright eye look I do, I used the Morphe 35B palette(I have no idea what I did before this!) it has the perfect mermaid shades for this look, in my opinion. I used the purple shade as the darkest in the crease, blended it out with a pink and then cut the crease and used the blue on top.

For highlight I decided to try a different one today and used the Doll Light Duo and used the lightest shade in the inner corners, brow bone and cheekbone. I wanted a pop of colour in the waterline so I used the Rimmel Exaggerate Waterproof Eyeliner in ‘Aqua Sparkle’, this was the first time I’ve used this and I was very impressed! I finished the look with some fluffy Prima Lash Express Mink in ‘Opulence’.

I bronzed my face up a little using the Benefit Hoola Bronzer, a firm favourite! Did my normal brow routine and then just swiped a makeup wipe along the edge to get a straight, crisp line. Finally for the lip, I used a nude lipliner, a Matte nude liquid lipstick, I actually used one from a set I got gifted for Christmas, but the Huda Beauty Liquid Matte in ‘Girlfriend’ would work just as good, and looks better for the photo šŸ˜, and then I packed on a load of the Natural Collection Clear Lip Gloss to finish the look.
