Ok, well mostly healthy, I'm not a nutritionist, these are just things I eat and tell myself they're better than having Coco Pops for breakfast. I have a major sweet tooth so every one of these is sweet, I just struggle to eat savoury in a morning, and as for snacks, I would always choose something sweet over savoury. Also, just to note, this post is kind of a lie, I very rarely make myself pancakes for breakfast, 99% of the time I have Weetabix, but these look much fancier for a blog post.

Oat And Banana Pancakes
If I do feel a bit more experimental though, I will choose something like pancakes on a Saturday morning. The recipe I use is just one banana to one egg and a tablespoon of rolled oats, ridiculously easy(I'm sure everybody knows this, but the riper the banana, the sweeter), mix them all together, heat up some cooking spray in a frying pan and then spoon the mixture in, I find one banana makes about 4 pancakes. Pancakes have to have some sort of syrup on in my opinion and while golden syrup would be my first choice, I thought honey would be a slightly better decision and just as yummy. Obviously berries would make for a prettier look, and would have probably tasted much better, but I didn't have any, so I went for fat free yoghurt.

Apple And Peanut Butter
Now for the snack I probably reach for the most, It's really not revolutionary, I'm sure everyone has heard of this, but it's apple and peanut butter. Almond butter would be a much healthier choice, but in my opinion is no where near as tasty. There's just something about the sweet of the apple and the smooth of the peanut butter that can't be described unless you've tried it.

Chocolate Porridge
I've seen chocolate porridge on Instagram many times and always fancied trying it, unfortunately I didn't have any chocolate soya milk, so for the first time I made this, I just used normal soya milk, which by the way, makes porridge so much sweeter and yummier than regular cows milk, in my opinion,  and then added some cocoa powder, it worked. This was very chocolatey, so if you're not into things being slightly sickly, I'd steer clear of this, but topped with a banana and honey, it made for a nice sweet treat

Dried Fruit And Nuts
Dried fruit and nuts is another go to snack of mine, I eat raisins by the tonne, nuts just aren't the same without them for me, and whilst I know they're not the most nutritious way to eat fruit, not that I have a problem getting enough fruit, I often think I eat way too much fruit, eating them helps me eat more nuts, which are really good for you. I tried dried mango for the first time recently and most definitely will be getting it again! Dates are also super good for you and delicious, I use them for healthy baking quite a lot too.

Fruit and Yoghurt
As I said, I eat a lot of fruit, like a lot. I know the 5-a-day is meant to be 2 fruit, 3 veg, but mines more like 4 fruit, 1 veg, and whilst I am trying to up my vegetable intake, I'm not sure I'm willing to give up the copious amounts of fruit I eat! I love topping a bowl of fruit with some fat free yoghurt and a sprinkling of chia seeds and making a bit more of a meal out of it, perfect for a light breakfast.
