As a self proclaimed tv and movie junkie, I felt it necessary to do a post on all my current favourite tv shows and movies I've been watching recently.

The Last Ship:
It was Eric Dane that drew me to watch this programme, missing McSteamy from Grey's Anatomy I thought I'd give his new show a try. And I absolutely loved it, It's about a Navy Seals boat that mid-misson get the news that most of the population has a virus that is wiping out the human race. It was so action packed and interesting, I watched all ten episodes in a few days, oops! I loved watching about the navy and seeing all the technical parts of it, whilst also watching the really human parts of the show and the people aboards relationships and lives. Really loved this and can't wait for season 2!

Gone Girl:
Wow, this movie was insane! Totally not my normal pick but I'd seen so much about it on social media, I gave it ago, It was crazy! So intense and kinda freaky, really draws you in and has you fully engrossed for the two hours. I'm normally being one for the soppy romantic comedy's/dramas, this was more or less the opposite of a love story, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Divergent:
I know this has been out a while now, and I had wanted to watch it but never gotten round to it, so when I saw it on amazon prime, I was extremely exited, and right to be! I loved it, again I found it so engrossing and interesting, I loved the relationship between Trix and Four, and I loved both of the main characters a lot. I really liked how Trix surprised you and really went for the unexpected. I thought Four was a really amazing, complex character, sort of the bad guy reputation but a good guy at heart, a sucker for most people I guess. I can't wait to watch Insurgent!

Bates Motel:
Again, definitely not my normal kind of tv show, super creepy and yet it completely drew me in, I just had no idea what was going to happen next and couldn't really get my head around any of the characters. Norman's relationship with his mother is a real mystery but again draws you in to see what happens. I feel like by season 3 I'm getting to know the characters and why they do what they do, but It's still extremely fascinating. I knew pretty much straight away, however, that I loved Dylan and I still do.

Laggies:
I really enjoyed this movie. I thought it was such a fun light-hearted comedy, about never wanting to grow up and if you found the right person, you didn't need to. Keira Knightley's character was great and really amused me, just a fun comedy that was a great watch!

The Best Of Me:
This movie, was much more my normal choice, such a beautiful romance by, of course, Nicholas Sparks. I think I've watched most of his movies and loved every one. Had me blubbering away like a baby at the end, as most do. Had some really lovely quotes and scenes. Loved it. The poster of course with the famous touching-foreheads-nearly-kissing-pose. :)
